The infinite universe equals a finite world of retinas. Although we still understand nothing more than the ground we stand, advanced technology leads us to a higher and more mysterious world of cosmos.
Even the extraordinary moments where endless imagination unfolds have occurred still a limited world. What signifies all the senses we see, hear, and feel? Is it our real experience? Or is it a world composed of numbers and information?

As composers, we define music as a sound architecture existing in time. Therefore, the concept of setting time in work takes the essential process. What is the time? It is not just a question for our practice. It is also a question that continues with human history. How can we perceive time? By the basic unit like 'hour, minute, second'? Or can we understand from the 8-bit rhythm as time? What time do we perceive and sense while listening to music?

The finite world stands the time we experience. The music quantified at 24 hours a day, or 3-5 minutes for one piece of music, is also a time we can observe. Then how about doubting the time out of sight from a slightly different perspective? Can we sense the time of the invisible and vast unknown area with real experience? Instead, is it recognized by numbers and information?

As the concept of composition and the exhibition artwork, <Time In Ignorance, ∆T≤720> quantified the uncertainty of time as a sound work. From work, time regards the amount of change that sound makes within 720 hours (30 days in the exhibition period) by the audience gradually senses the time that has already been placed in out of our visibility during the exhibition period. The sound that drives the amount of change in time considers as the movement and transformation of invisible energy, and at the same time, exists as visual information.

Plus, in the process of going from non-equilibrium to equilibrium, <Time In Ignorance, ∆T≤720> is placed. Through the opening performance, a chaotic form characterized by chaoplexity, which is a very first moment of non-equilibrium created. In nature, the state of non-equilibrium has existed as an absolute condition that drives into the reveal the difference. During the 30-day exhibition period, the sound works generate a movement that deviates from the state of non-equilibrium—all our experienced spontaneous changes are made in the irreversible. Along with the time-specific sound work presented at this time, our doubts about reality will continue.
